below: proposed floor plan for luxury chalets.  the most important point is to create an environment for relaxation and a cosy home away from home.  views to the mountain determine the orientation and the form with sunny outdoor dining areas a feature.  The view is always present with a transparency to the middle part of the building allowing unrestricted views from the sunny outdoor dining through the house to mt ruapehu beyond.  watching the sun setting on this active volcano is a real highlight of an experience in this area.

unfortunately this part of the project has been put on hold as indeed the entire project due to council requirements involving the complete upgrade of the sceptic tank system making the project currently uneconomic and unviable.
